Four ways to get your business named by AI.

Software, a big agency, doing it yourself, or a local practice. Each fits somebody. Here’s what each gets you, when it fits, and what to ask before you pay.

AI visibility trackers.

Software that asks AI tools a list of questions and charts how often your brand appears.

A good fit when: You have a marketing person with time to act on the data every week.

Watch out for

  • It shows the problem. Someone still has to fix it.
  • Question lists are often generic, not your towns and your jobs.
  • Questions that name your brand make the numbers look better than they are.

Ask before you buy

  • Which questions are tracked, and can I add my towns?
  • Are questions that name my business counted separately?
  • Does it separate being cited from being recommended?

National AEO agencies.

Managed programs that publish content, build links and place mentions at volume, run by an account team.

A good fit when: You are a national brand or an online store with a large site and a content budget.

Watch out for

  • Volume is the product. A local service business needs a correct Google profile more than 30 articles a month.
  • Your account manager may look after dozens of clients.
  • Averaged results across many clients say little about yours.

Ask before you buy

  • Who does the work on my account, and who do I talk to?
  • What share of the plan is local: my Google profile, reviews and service area?
  • Can I see the exact questions and the raw answers every month?
  • For each result you show me, what is the date range and the source?

Doing it yourself.

You fix your own listings, site and reviews, and check AI answers by hand.

A good fit when: You run one location, your site is simple, and you have a few hours a month.

Watch out for

  • It is hard to ask the same questions the same way every month, so progress is hard to see.
  • It is easy to start and easy to stop.

Ask yourself

  • Can I keep a fixed list of questions and log the answers monthly?
  • Do I know which outside sites AI reads about my trade and my town?

AiM.

A local answer engine optimization practice in Fairfield, Ohio. The founder does the work: fixes, pages, listings and reviews, checked every month with the same questions.

A good fit when: You run a service business in Greater Cincinnati and want the work done, shown and explained clearly.

Watch out for

  • We don’t promise a position. Nobody controls what a model says.
  • We are built for local service businesses, not national content volume.

Ask us

  • Which questions will you track for me, and can I see them?
  • What will you fix in the first month?
  • What happens at day 90 if AI still isn’t naming me?

Questions about the options.

Only if someone has time to act on it. A tracker tells you how often AI names you. It doesn’t change your site, listings or reviews, which is what changes the answer.
For a national brand or an online store, that can be the right call. For a local service business, check how much of the plan is local: your Google profile, reviews and the towns you serve. Volume content rarely fixes those.
Yes. Start with the free tools on this site: check your AI crawlers, list your buying questions and ask them yourself. When you want the work done and checked monthly, talk to us.
